Button vs CTA
They are not "two kinds of buttons"
I need to add a button. A regular Button or a CTA?

How to decide: The single most important thing on the page
Decision rule
- there is one thing on the page the user most needs to domake it the CTA (single, most prominent)
- it is just an ordinary actionuse a Button (several can carry equal weight)
- you have ended up with 3 CTAs that are all "most important"step back and decide what this page is actually asking the user to do
A CTA is a role, not a look. One page can hold many Buttons but only one thing you want the user to do. The moment visual weight is spread evenly, the focus disappears.
